i had some idea last night after studying some notions of stratification:
why cannot people do what they really want to? what if our education teaches us being opening, respecting, understanding, love, peace, freedom, thanksgiving, happiness, and the like, instead of chasing success? will the world become better?
in my understanding, how does the society be created:
subjectivity -(compounding)- value -(compounding)- norm -(compounding)- structure -(creating)- different hierarchy/calss -(depending/counting on incentives, e.g. money, power, education, fame)- different status
why is there inequality in our society?
inequality exists in the society which people compete one another
inequality exists in the society which people compare one another where people focus too much on the outer environment instead of their inner heart/mind
because of compare and compete, people want to gain/store more and more instead of helping the people who really need those money, for instance.
people work for incentives, money, however i declare aganist it
incentives should not be money, it should be happiness, included money!
or should be hope, or the like
although money is important, people can live without having money; yet people cannot live without hope/happiness
"If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself. Tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches."
(Rainer Maria Rilke)
therefore, why do not our education teaches us "to call forth its riches", instead of chasing money, chasing success?
